“Supply and/or install architectural woodwork in accordance with the AWMAC Architectural Woodwork Standards, current edition.”
And now you perceive that the architectural woodwork on the project is not correct?
Perhaps AWMAC’s Guarantee and Inspection Service (GIS) was originally specified but for cost savings later deleted.
You can still find out whether the woodwork on the project meets AWMAC’s STANDARDS (North American Architectural Woodwork Standards).
Contact your regional AWMAC Chapter and ask about our Consultation Service.

This service is available even if the AWMAC Guarantee and Inspection Service (GIS) and/or the current edition of AWMAC’s STANDARDS (North American Architectural Woodwork Standards) were not specified.
Arrange for an expert to review the specifications, shop drawings, and contract documents of your project and follow up with a site inspection of the architectural woodwork. An objective report will be issued at the end of the inspection.
There is a fee for this service. A retainer is required to be paid in full prior to the inspection.
