The Inter-Association Committee supports collaboration and coordination between AWMAC and allied industry organizations. The committee provides a forum for identifying areas of mutual interest, advancing joint initiatives, and strengthening relationships that support AWMAC’s strategic objectives and the broader architectural woodwork industry.
The Chapter Standardization Committee supports national consistency in the delivery and administration of AWMAC programs and processes across Chapters. The committee facilitates information sharing, identifies opportunities for operational alignment, and provides advisory input on matters affecting coordination between National and Chapters.
The GIS Committee provides advisory oversight and technical guidance for AWMAC’s GIS Program. The committee supports the consistent application of inspection policies, inspector practices, and program procedures, and provides recommendations to the National Board on program improvements, risk management considerations, and operational alignment.
The NAAWS Committee is responsible for the stewardship, maintenance, and ongoing development of the National Architectural Woodwork Standards. The committee reviews and evaluates proposed revisions, errata, and interpretations, and provides technical recommendations to ensure the standards remain current, accurate, and aligned with evolving industry practices.
The Standards Manual Committee supports the development, review, and maintenance of AWMAC’s operational and governance manuals, policies, and procedures. The committee helps ensure that internal documentation remains current, consistent, and aligned with AWMAC’s bylaws, governance framework, and Board-approved policies.
